Prime Alternatives Delivery Services

Prime Alternatives offer their customers a delivery service or alternatively the customer can arrange to use their own courier / delivery service.

Depending on the goods, Prime Alternatives will use the appropriate carrier. Small goods are sent via Australia Post. Larger items such as Electric tables are sent via a Courier company.
The customer will be quoted a delivery cost prior to the transaction being complete.

Australia Post Delivery

Australia Post usually delivers around the country within 2 – 7 working days, depending on your location.
Prime Alternatives uses the eparcel service which requires the receiver to sign for the goods on arrival or collection. When customers sign for goods they are acknowledging that they are accepting the goods in their present condition.
If in the case that the goods arrive damaged customers must NOT sign for goods.
If goods are signed for neither Prime Alternatives nor Australia Post are liable and goods cannot be replaced.
Although Australia Post do not insure you or us against breakage, in the best interest of the customer we will replace damaged goods if we are notified within 24hrs and goods have not been signed for.
The goods will then be replaced once we have the damaged goods have been returned to Prime Alternatives.

TNT / Courier Deliveries

For all larger products, Prime Alternatives use a range of couriers. Prime Alternatives will choose the carrier depending on the cost of shipping. By using a range of carriers we can guarantee that you are receiving the cheapest delivery rates.

Our standard courier delivery service is to your door and is a one man delivery service. The driver will need assistance to unload the goods at your end. Two people are usually suffice. This service does not include the removing of packaging.

We ask that customers thoroughly check all goods upon delivery as drivers will require a signature from you. You signature acknowledges that you are accepting the goods in their present condition, and neither the courier company nor Prime Alternatives are liable for any damage or loss to the goods. Please sign goods if goods are in good order and condition.

If in the rare instance that the goods have been damaged during transit DO NOT sign the consignment and refuse the goods. This ensures that the courier company is liable for damaged goods, and the product will be re-sent. Please contact Prime Alternatives on 1300 505 333 if there are any troubles with delivery.

Unfortunately we are unable to specify exact delivery times. Prime Alternatives can usually however specify a delivery day, providing there are no delays with shipping. We also do ask that couriers call you prior to delivery.

If in the instance that no one is at the designated delivery address for the goods, the carrier will NOT leave goods unattended at the site. The goods will be returned to the nearest depot and the customer contacted to arrange re-delivery in which a fee will be charged by Prime Alternatives.

Prime Alternatives do not under any condition run accounts. All goods must be paid for in full before they can leave our shop / warehouse. This applies for both retail customers and resellers.

For specifically ordered products a minimum 25% deposit must be paid at the time of the order, which is non refundable. The outstanding amount is due when goods have been manufactured and are ready for dispatch.

It is very rare that Prime Alternatives do not have all their products in stock. However if in the odd case that an Order is placed for a product(s) that are not in stock the order will be placed on back order. Customers will be notified if this is the case, and are given the option as to whether they cancel the order or are happy to wait until the goods are available. If the delay in receiving goods has been extended to more than a fortnight, you will again be contacted, and given the option as to whether you wish to proceed to wait for the product.
If in the case that only part of an order needs to be back ordered the customer will be charged only for goods that are available and the delivery fee. Customers will not be charged for any products on back order until the product is ready to be sent. All available products will be sent immediately.

Custom Orders & Products

In the instance that you have ordered a product with specific alternations or changes, Prime Alternatives may request that the total price be paid prior to the manufacturing starting.

Prime Alternatives also does not hold any responsibility for the design or modifications submitted by the customer to Prime Alternatives for manufacture.
